Savannah Hight, but Schreiner hit two clutch free throws in the closing seconds of the OT to grab a 74-73 conference win.

Hight (San Antonio/Brandeis) capped a furious TLU comeback in regulation with a three that tied the game at 65.

The Bulldogs trailed by 12 with 7:25 to play and by 10 with 2:11 remaining in the fourth quarter. Hight scored eight of TLU's next 14 points.
Cierra Jordan (Llano/Llano) scored five in the stretch.

In the OT, TLU fell behind by four earlier but again rallied to take a lead. Jordan hit a three with 1:19 to play to put the Bulldogs in front, 73-72.

Cassandra Aleman's two free throws with 16 seconds to play put the Mountaineers ahead for the final time.

Hight missed a jumper with a second on the clock on TLU's final possession.

Hight finished the night with 27 points on 9-of-18 shooting. She was 3-for-4 from the three-point line. She added five rebounds and two assists.

Sabriyyah Fennell scored 27 for the Mountaineers. She went 10-for-13 from the field and hit three of her four three-point attempts. She chipped in seven rebounds and two assists.

Jordan registered 16 points for the Bulldogs. She hit seven of her nine free throws and four of her six field goal attempts.

Kristen Lye (San Antonio/Clark) and
Adelaide Wenzel (Victoria/Victoria East) each scored nine. Lye pulled down seven rebounds.
Autumn Shead (Pflugerville/Connally) led the Bulldogs with nine rebounds.

TLU led at the half, 31-27, but fell into a hole as the Mountaineers put together a 19-8 edge in the third quarter.

Schreiner improved to 5-9 overall and to 3-1 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

A day removed from a hard-fought conference win at Trinity, the Bulldogs' loss dropped their overall mark to 7-9 and their conference mark to 3-2.

The Bulldogs return home for conference games on Friday (Colorado College, 8 p.m.) and Saturday (Centenary, 6 p.m.).
