SHREVEPORT, La. â€" Texas Lutheran Softball completed the first perfect conference regular season in school history by sweeping the final two games of a four-game series with Centenary.

Sunday afternoon at the Centenary Softball Complex, the Bulldogs rolled to 13-3 and 15-0 wins over the Ladies. TLU won 4-3 and 19-4 over Centenary on Saturday.

th in the latest NFCA poll for NCAA Division III, TLU improved to 33-4 overall and to 23-0 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Centenary dropped to 7-26 overall and to 4-20 in the SCAC.

The early-game victory Sunday was the 500
th career victory for TLU Head Coach
Wade Wilson. In his fourth season at TLU, Wilson has 117 wins with the Bulldogs. He won 383 games as a high school softball coach.

The two victories Sunday pushed the Bulldogs' overall win streak to 30 games.

TLU set a new SCAC record with 34 consecutive conference victories, topping the record of 33 set by DePauw.

In the first game Sunday,
Brayden Pinckard (Buda/Hays) finished a triple short of the cycle. She hit a solo home run in the second, had an RBI single in the third, hit an RBI sacrifice fly in the sixth, and belted a two-run double in the seventh.

Pinckard finished 3-for-4 with three runs scored and five RBI.
Â
Taylor Yancey (Magnolia/Magnolia West) added a 4-for-4 performance with three RBI. Yancey delivered four singles, walked once, and drove in three.

Jacquelyn Brown (Vidor/Vidor) also collected three hits in the first game.
Â
Amanda Lochte (Fredericksburg/Fredericksburg) picked up the win in relief. Lochte tossed 1-1/3 innings and struck out two. She allowed one run (unearned).

In game two,
Heather Hummel (Houston/Stratford) hit a two-run homer in the third and added a two-run double n the fourth. Hummel went 2-for-3 with three runs scored and four RBI.

Pinckard finished game two 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI.
Grace Estes (Willis/Willis) put TLU in front 3-0 with a two-run double in the second.

Taylor Grissom (Spring/Klein Collins) started game two and hurled the complete-game, four-hit shutout. Grissom improved to 16-0. She struck out one and did not walk a batter in five innings.

TLU now prepares for the 2015 SCAC Championship, which begins Friday at Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas.

TLU, the defending SCAC champion, is the tournament's top seed for a second straight year.
