SEGUIN, Texas â€" Texas Lutheran Softball rolled to consecutive wins 18 and 19 with 9-0 and 8-0 run-rule victories Sunday against St. Olaf College (Minn.).

At TLU's Ed Kruse Stadium â€" Morck Softball Field, the Bulldogs tallied 19 hits in the two games and held the Oles to just four.

TLU improved to 22-4 overall with the non-conference victories. St. Olaf fell to 1-9.

The Bulldogs added two more wins to the school-record win streak, which began on March 2.

TLU sophomore right-hander
Samantha Yenne (Lake Jackson/Brazoswood) tossed a one-hit shutout in the opener. Yenne allowed only a single in the fourth to Alex Lopez.

Yenne improved to 3-2. Danielle Collins (1-4) took the loss for St. Olaf.

Grace Estes (Willis/Willis) and
Nicole Snow (Tomball/Klein Oak) each drove in a pair of runs. Estes, Snow and
Brayden Pinckard (Buda/Hays) each scored twice.

In game two,
Heather Hummel (Houston/Stratford) went 2-for-2 with three RBI, and
Ashley Jacobsen (Marion/Marion) and Estes each added two RBI.

Amanda Lochte (2-0) started for TLU and worked three innings, allowing just two hits. Lochte (Fredericksburg/Fredericksburg) struck out three.

Kimberly Leschber (Thorndale/Thorndale) finished off the game with two shutout frames.

TLU returns to action this Friday and Saturday with a four-game conference series with the University of Dallas.

Friday's doubleheader starts at 5 p.m., and Saturday's doubleheader begins at noon. All games will be played at TLU's Ed Kruse Stadium â€" Morck Softball Field.
