TLU Women's Soccer plays to scoreless draw in road match with Schreiner

KERRVILLE, Texas -- Texas Lutheran played to a scoreless draw Sunday afternoon with Schreiner in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play.

The Bulldogs and the Mountaineers played 90 minutes of regulation and two 10-minute overtimes, but neither team could find the winning goal.

TLU moved its overall record to 7-1-2 and its conference mark to 3-1-2.

Schreiner moved to 7-3-2 overall and to 4-1-1 in the SCAC.

Schreiner held a 10-5 edge in total shots and a 4-1 edge in shots on goal.

Bulldog keeper Erin Rose made four saves in the double-overtime affair.

TLU returns home to Gustafson Field for a Friday conference match with Centenary (La.). Match time is set for 5 p.m.

TLU will have live video and live stats for the soccer doubleheader. The men's soccer match with Centenary starts at 7 p.m. Friday.
