SEGUIN, Texas -- The Trinity Tigers used two second-half goals to pull away from the Texas Lutheran Bulldogs and collect a 4-1 conference victory Friday night in Seguin.

Derrick Horvath, with an assist from Francisco Vasquez, and Christian Sakshaug scored for Trinity in the the 55th and 89th minutes, respectively, to seal the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference victory.

Trinity improved to 14-2 overall and to 10-2 in the SCAC. TLU dropped to 8-7 overall and to 5-7 in the SCAC.

The Tigers scored twice in the first seven minutes of action with goals from Laurence Wyke and Tom Carwile. Chris Madden and Daniel Ruano assisted on the goals.

Lalo Ramirez cut the Trinity lead in half with a header, off a corner from
Colin Nunley. Ramirez scored at the 28:46 mark.
