SHREVEPORT, La. â€" The Texas Lutheran volleyball team wrapped up its SCAC weekend with a pair of losses to Colorado College and Dallas. The Bulldogs fell 3-0 to the Tigers and 3-1 to the Crusaders.
Â
The two losses dropped TLU's record to 13-6 on the year and 3-4 in conference play.

The second set was back and forth throughout, with the Bulldogs building a lead as large as 15-11 midway through. The Tigers tallied six straight points to take a 17-15 lead and never trailed again. The Bulldogs showed some fight, battling back from a 24-21 deficit to tie the set.

Â
The Bulldogs wrapped up the weekend with a tough 25-19, 23-25, 14-25, 19-25 loss to Dallas.

Â
The match seemed to turn in the second set. It was a back-and-forth affair, with neither team gaining more than a four-point lead in the frame. The Bulldogs led 20-18 and looked to be on the verge of taking a 2-0 lead, but Dallas rattled off five of the next six points to take a 23-21 lead. The Bulldogs battled back with two straight points to tie it at 23-23, but Dallas finished it off with the set's final two points to take it.
Â
With the momentum on the Crusaders' side, they would get out to big leads in each of the next two sets to close out the match.
Â
The Bulldogs finished with .129 hitting, while Dallas hit .162. Fording (San Antonio, Texas) led the team with 12 kills on .212 hitting.
