Bulldogs to take on Trinity with NCAA Tournament berth on the line

SEGUIN -- The Texas Lutheran baseball team will take on top-seeded Trinity at noon Sunday in the championship round of the SCAC tournament. The Bulldogs will need to win two games against the Tigers today to advance to the NCAA Division III Tournament and give TLU its fifth conference title this year. 

The Bulldogs and Tigers met up yesterday in a winners' bracket matchup. The Bulldogs battled back with a three-run ninth inning to tie the game, but fell 8-7 to the Tigers on a walk-off single from Pat Hirschberg in the bottom of the ninth.
