SAN ANTONIO, Texas â€" Texas Lutheran plays its second game of the Trinity Invitational with a 4 p.m. Saturday match-up against Wheaton College (Ill.).

The Bulldogs (3-5) and Thunder (7-3) face each other in Trinity University's Webster Gymnasium. Admission is free.

On Friday, TLU made free throws and cut down turnovers in the closing minutes to survive 37 three-point attempts by Anderson (Ind.) in an 80-76 Bulldog victory at Webster Gymnasium.

The Bulldogs made 46.4 percent of their second-half shots and 78.6 percent of their second-half free throws. The Bulldogs were 22-of-28 at the line in the final 20 minutes.
 
TLU sophomore point guard Sterling Holmes (San Antonio/Antonian/Richland College) scored 25 points, grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists for the Bulldogs.

Wheaton secured a 68-63 win Friday over tournament host Trinity. Brayden Teuscher finished with a game-high 27 points. Michael Berg recorded a double-double with 12 points and a game-high 10 rebounds.
