SHERMAN, Texas â€" Nathan Drouillard got on the end of an Isaac Lopez free kick, heading home the game winning goal in Texas Lutheran's 1-0 overtime road win over Austin College on Friday.
 
Austin College was called for a foul early in the first overtime period, setting up a TLU opportunity. Lopez (Round Rock, Texas) was called upon to take the free kick from 45 yards out and came up with the perfect ball into the box. He found the head of the 6-6 Drouillard (San Antonio, Texas), who finished off the piece of play by heading the ball into the lower-left corner to end the game.
 
It was Drouillard's third goal of the season, tying him for the team lead. It was also his second game-winning score. It was Lopez's team-best third assist, tying him with Drouillard for the team lead in points (7).
 
The win improved Texas Lutheran's record to 4-4-2 overall and 2-3-1 in SCAC action. The Bulldogs have become experts of the overtime game, having played three in their last four contests. The loss dropped Austin College's record to 0-7-3 overall and 0-4-1 in conference play.
 
The Bulldogs controlled play throughout, outshooting the 'Roos 19-4 for the match. TLU tallied eight shots on goal compared to three for Austin College.
 
Texas Lutheran keeper Jonathan Michael (Coppell, Texas) earned the shutout on Friday, his fifth of the season. He stopped all three shots he faced and has now allowed just five goals in six SCAC games.
 
Friday marked the fifth time this season the Bulldogs have notched more than 15 shots. They are 3-1-1 in those five games.
