The Bulldogs (17-12, 7-7 SCAC) just couldn't find their rhythm during the 25-19, 25-18, 25-15 loss to the No. 11-ranked Tigers. The Bulldogs came into the tournament as the fourth seed while Colorado College was the second seed. The Tigers were upset in the semifinals by Southwestern.

No Bulldogs ended the evening with double-digit kills. Vanecia Spencer (Grandview, Texas) was the closest, tallying nine kills on .200 hitting.
