LONGVIEW, Texas -- Texas Lutheran women's tennis dropped their Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) match to LeTourneau Friday evening, 6-1, in Longview to fall to 5-4 overall and 2-3 in the SCAC on the season.
Despite the team of Isabella Hill (Pearland/Pearland) and Farah Standley (Pleasanton/Pleasanton) winning their match, 7-6, the Bulldogs would drop the doubles point on Friday. The duo have won their last three matches and four of their last five.
Cassandra Benavides (San Antonio/Medina Valley) would earn the Bulldogs lone point of the afternoon in singles competition, rallying to win her singles match 2-6, 6-2, 11-9.
Texas Lutheran will look to bounce back tomorrow, March 28, as they travel to Houston to face St. Thomas at 2 PM.
