CONWAY, AR -- The Texas Lutheran men's soccer team (5-7-2, 3-1-2 SCAC) blanked the Hendrix College Warriors (4-8-1, 2-4-0 SCAC), 6-0, for its sixth shutout of the season on Friday. The Bulldogs scored five of the six goals in the second half for their highest scoring output since their 6-0 shutout victory over Austin College to end the 2022 season.
Raymond Palmer (San Antonio/Clark) tallied a pair of goals;
Evan Pacheco (San Antonio/Central Catholic) had a goal and an assist with
Cristiano Perez (El Paso/Antonian College Prep) and
Jonathan Frazier (Frisco/Legacy Christian Academy) both registering a pair of assists as the quartet each had multi-point efforts.
Pacheco, Palmer, and
Alex Isaacson (Round Rock/Round Rock) combined for four goals in a span of just under 20 minutes. A Hendrix own goal got the scoring started in the second half to double the TLU lead to 2-0. Two minutes after the own goal, Perez found Pacheco for a header to put TLU up 3-0.
Ten minutes later, Perez found Isaacson to push the TLU lead to four.
Palmer tallied the Bulldogs fifth and sixth goals of the contest in the 70th and 71st minutes respectively for his first career brace with both being assisted by Frazier.
The first half didn't see much action before Pacheco found
Luis Briseno (San Antonio/Madison) in the 13th minute for the eventual game-winning goal.
Ernesto Avila (Houston/Humble) and
Jackson Laauwe (College Station/A&M Consolidated) combined for the shutout in goal for the Bulldogs.Â
TLU concludes their final road trip of the 2026 season on Sunday, Oct. 25 as they travel to face University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 PM and will be streamed on FloCollege. All streaming and live stats links will be available on tlubulldogs.com.
