GENEVA, OH -- Texas Lutheran men's track and field concluded the 2025 season at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Geneva, Ohio, Saturday afternoon.
Senior Ezra Acero (San Antonio/Harlan), a three-time NCAA Championship qualifier, competed for the final time as a Bulldog on Saturday and finished tied for tenth. Acero cleared heights of 4.70 and 4.85m (15'11") but could not clear his season-best height of 4.95m (16' 2.75"), narrowly missing the coveted All-America status. The tenth place finish is his best finish at the NCAA championships in his career.
Acero ends his collegiate career as the best pole vaulter in Texas Lutheran history, owning the program's indoor and outdoor records as well as the SCAC Championship record while three-peating as SCAC Champion from 2023-25.
