Bulldogs Fall to Schreiner, 6-1

KERRVILLE, Texas -- Texas Lutheran women's tennis dropped their Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) match to Schreiner Wednesday afternoon, 6-1, in Kerrville to fall to 3-8 on the season.

Starting in a hole before doubles play even started due to only traveling three players, Texas Lutheran lost the doubles point by default.

Texas Lutheran won the lone doubles match that was physically played as the team of Lucero Alvarado (San Antonio/Southwest) and Serenity Cabrera (San Antonio/New Braunfels) won the match, 6-1.

Cabrera would earn the Bulldogs lone point of the afternoon in singles competition, rallying to win her singles match 6-4, 1-6, 10-8.

Texas Lutheran will now shift its focus to the 2025 SCAC Championship Tournament hosted by Colorado College in Waco, Texas, starting on Friday, April 25.
