LAKE WHITNEY, Texas -- Texas Lutheran women's golf sits in sixth place after day two of the 2025 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Women's Golf Championships at 162-over at the par-72 White Bluff Golf Resort in Lake Whitney, Texas.
The team finished the second round with an 87-over score of 375. Trinity leads the pack at 63-over (689) through two rounds.
Sophomore Jordyn Ponewash (Flatonia/Flatonia) finished round two at 19-over and is in a tie for 19th with a two-round score of 37-over.
Freshman Belle Asbury (San Antonio/Davenport) had a 21-over showing in round two to bring her two-round score to 21-over and put her tied for 16th.
Jacqueline Springs (Seguin/Navarro) and Mireia Bustamante (Austin/McNeil) finished the second round tied for 31st at 45-over through 36 holes.
The Bulldogs will continue with the final day of the 2025 SCAC Championships on Tuesday, April 15. The tournament is being streamed on FloSports. All streaming and live stats links will be available on tlubulldogs.com.
