Records Fall at Carl Kight Lumberjack Invitational

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran track and field team split up this weekend as the TLU distance team competed in the Carl Kight Lumberjack Invitational hosted by Stephen F. Austin University over the course of two days in Nacogdoches in a meet featuring athletes from all three NCAA levels and a ton of personal records from the Bulldogs.

It was a record breaking weekend for the Bulldogs as multiple records fell Friday night for the Bulldogs.

Junior Gabriel Ceballos (San Antonio/Smithson Valley) broke his own program record that he set just a year ago in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 10:24.05 to finish 18th overall and seventh amongst Division-III runners.

Lucas Falcon (Victoria/Victoria East) finished 36th in the 5000m run with a time of 15:43.44.
