Game Recap: Acrobatics & Tumbling |

A&T Earns Four Individual Event Titles

BUFFALO, NY -- Texas Lutheran acrobatics & tumbling qualified for ten events at the NCATA Division-III Event Finals, earning four individual titles on Saturday.
 
The Inversion Pyramid heat features Phoenix Cosley (Round Rock/Hendrickson), Brie Brown (Minden, LA/Minden), Gracen Bunch (Georgetown/Georgetown), Lexi Sierra (Waxahachie/Waxahachie), Genna Crafts (Elgin/Elgin), and Payten Campos (San Antonio/John Jay). They entered the competition with the highest score of the week across all teams competing. The Bulldogs took the title at a 9.850, beating out Trine and UMHB.

The 450 Salto Toss title went to Texas Lutheran with a score of 9.300, besting Trine, Concordia Wisconsin, and UMHB. Bunch, Cosley, Sierra, and Brown are joined by Alysa Marquez (Miami, FL/Dr. Michael Krop) in the event.

Gracen Bunch and Phoenix Cosley, three-time NCATA Tournament qualifiers and members of the original TLU A&T squad earned the duo tumbling title with a score of 9.150, besting UMHB and Buffalo State.

Last but not least, Cosley earned the trophy for the Open Tumbling Pass with a score of 9.350. She bested tumblers from UMHB and Trine for the title.
