PACIFIC GROVE, CA -- Texas Lutheran women's golf concluded day one at the 2025 UCSC Invitational hosted by UC Santa Cruz at the Pacific Grove Golf Links in Pacific Grove, California, on Saturday.

Texas Lutheran only has four golfers - Jacqueline Springs (Seguin/Navarro), Belle Asbury (San Antonio/Davenport), Mireia Bustamante (Austin/McNeil), and Jordyn Ponewash (Flatonia/Flatonia) - participating in the tournament and will not configure into the team standings.

Asbury led the Bulldogs through day one with a 17-over first round score to tie for 59th place. Ponewash and Springs both finished five strokes behind Asbury at 22-over par to tie for 71st. Bustamante finished 77th at 32-over par.

The Bulldogs will look to climb the individual leaderboard as they tee off for their final round tomorrow, March 30th from Pacific Grove.
