HOUSTON, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran men's track and field team competed in the FasTrak Athletix Indoor Collegiate Challenge Saturday at Yeoman Fieldhouse at the University of Houston in a field primarily filled by Division-I competition.

For the second time in two seasons, Wesley Holub (Wallis/Brazos) broke the program record for the 3000m run at the FasTrak Collegiate Challenge, finishing tenth overall and second amongst NCAA Division-III runners with a time of 8:56.69. The time surpasses his own TLU record of 9:02.79 he set at this event in 2024.

Gabriel Ceballos (San Antonio/Smithson Valley) finished 18th overall and fourth amongst Division-III runners in the 800m run with a time of 2:01.89.

Parker Cabra (Schertz/Randolph) finished tied for third overall and second amongst Division-III jumpers in the high jump with a final mark of 1.95m (6'4.75").

Ezra Acero (San Antonio/Harlan) finished sixth overall and first amongst Division-III competitors in the pole vault with a mark of 4.60m (15' 1").

Garrett Haass (La Vernia/La Vernia) finished 12th overall and first amongst Division-III competitors in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.47 seconds.

Eden Perez finished 25th overall and fourth amongst Division-III sprinters in the 200m dash with a time of 22.86 seconds.

The 4x400m relay team comprised of Perez, Braylen Brown, Terry Barnes (Cleveland, OH/San Marcos), and Gavin Godinez (Argyle/Byron Nelson) finished seventh overall and first amongst Division-III relay squads with a time of 3:26.34.
