SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran women's golf team wrapped the 2024 Alamo City Classic Tuesday at Quarry Golf Course in San Antonio.
As a team, Texas Lutheran finished fifth combining for a score of 689 (+121) over 36 holes.
Freshman Belle Asbury (San Antonio/Davenport) paced the Bulldogs on day two with a 78 (+7) in the final round Tuesday. Asbury finished the Classic in a tie for 12th place (+18), climbing the leaderboard eight places on Tuesday. Jacqueline Springs (Seguin/Navarro) signed for a final tally of 25-over to close the Classic in a tie for 18th place.
Braydee Frederick (Normangee/Normangee) finished 26th with a score of 34-over while Jordyn Ponewash (Flatonia/Flatonia) finished a spot behind her in 27th at 41-over. Peighton Guillory (Atascocita/Atascocita) finished 35th at 82-over.
Texas Lutheran returns to action Oct. 21-22 at the Hardin-Simmons Invitational at Cypress Bend Resort in Many, Louisiana.
