Texas Lutheran Opens at Bash at the Bend

MANY, LA -- Texas Lutheran women's golf opened the 2024 Bash at the Bend at Cypress Bend Resort in Many, Louisiana on Monday.

Freshman Belle Asbury (San Antonio/Davenport) paced the Bulldogs shooting 16-over (88), tying for eighth through the opening 18 holes. 

Jordyn Ponewash (Flatonia/Flatonia) sits in 27th after an opening round score of 95. Jacqueline Springs (Seguin/Navarro) sits in a tie for 33rd place while Peighton Guillory (Atascocita/Atascocita) is in 40th place.

As a team, Texas Lutheran is in sixth place through the opening 18 holes with a score of 99-over 387. Southwestern University leads through the first day with a score of 49-over 337.

The Bulldogs will begin their final round tomorrow at 9:30 AM at Cypress Bend Resort. Live stats will be available here.
